The Coachlight Restaurant
Downtown Longford
Enjoy home-cooked meals at The Coachlight Restaurant. The restaurant was a community driven effort. When the only restaurant in town closed in 1975, community members decided that they needed a place to enjoy an old-fashioned meal. Longford pulled together. All funds to build the restaurant were local - no state or federal agencies were called. Locals supplied the materials and labor and soon the restaurant was built! It will celebrate its 50th year in 2026!

Longford City Park
North of Downtown
The Longford City Park is located North of Downtown - at the corner of Main Street and Santa Fe Ave.

There is a covered picnic area perfect for small gatherings. Enjoy the splash pad too! The splash pad is open everyday Memorial Day - Mid September. We hope you visit soon!
Town Murals
Downtown Longford
Longford has 2 great murals you must see in person!
The first one is located right next to The Coachlight Restaurant on the West side. It pays ohmage to The Longford Rodeo with a bull fighter and bull.
The second mural can be seen on the West side of the post office downtown. It depicts the train depot from the 1880s.
The Frank Dieter Memorial Library
Downtown Longford
The library is located in the Longford Community Center. It is open Wednesday and Saturday mornings 8:30-10:30. Stop in sometime soon!

The Longford Bethel United Methodist Church

We hope you can join us for worship on Sundays at 11:00. Adult and children Sunday School takes place before the service at 10:00.
